The cast of ‘It Ends With Us’ has been in the midst of a rather tense feud since the film was officially released and as rumors swirl that there is some sort of feud between the film’s stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Now, another star from the film, Brandon Sklenar, is breaking his silence on the rumors.
According to the Daily News, a source said Baldoni was “dismissive” to Lively’s viewpoint and “failed to consider Blake’s character’s perspective” which reportedly caused some tension on the set during filming.
More rumors swirled as outlets such as Page Siz and TMZ also covered the apparent rift.
Sklenar who stars in the film as Lively’s character’s former love, Atlas, has now taken to social media to call out, what he calls, the “disheartening” narrative circulating online.
According to his official post on Instagram:
“I wanted to take a minute and address all this stuff swirling online,” he said, and would show more support for his co-stars saying Hoover, Lively and “the women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves”.
“Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about.”
Sklenar went on to say that the rumors of a feud are the “opposite of the point” and that despite what “may or may not” have happened behind the scenes should “not detract from what our intentions were in making this film”.
